The Kerala State Commission for Protection of Child Rights came into existence on June 3, 2013. It comprises a Chairperson and six Members.
Administrative Division
An Officer of the rank of Secretary assists the Commission and is the head of its administration. The Commission has administrative, finance, complaints and media wings, in addition to a Juvenile Justice Cell a POCSO Cell and a RTE Cell which handle Protection and Development issues respectively, related to children.

Administrative Branch:
An Officer of the rank of Joint Secretary to the Government is the Administrative Officer of the Commission.

Finance Branch is headed by a Finance Officer of the Commission who is of the rank of Joint Secretary of the Finance Secretariat.
