CHILD WELFARE COMMITTEE (CWC)
TheChildWelfareCommitteeisabodyconstitutedunderSection27oftheJJAct 2015and is the sole authority to deal with matters concerning children in need of care andprotection. Child Welfare Committees are constituted for each district by Government of Kerala and it consists of a chairperson and 4 other persons, at least one of whom should be awoman.
The Committee has the final authority to dispose of cases for the care, protection,treatment, development and rehabilitation of the children as well as to provide for their basic needs and human rights but does not have the authority to give a child up for adoption.

INTEGRATED CHILD PROTECTION SCHEME (ICPS)
The ICPS is based on cardinal principles of “protection of child rights” and “best interest of the child” which will focus its activities on children in need of care and protection and children in conflict and contact with the law.
To contribute to the improvementsthrough district child protection unit for the wellbeing of children in difficult circumstances, as well as to the reduction of vulnerabilities to situations and actions that lead to abuse, neglect, exploitation, abandonment and separation of children.

JUVENILE JUSTICE BOARD (JJB)
Juvenile Justice Board: As per section 4 of Juvenile Justice (Care and protection of Children) Act, 2015. Juvenile Justice Boards are constituted by Kerala state in all districts and it is headed by the Principal Magistrate (Chief Judicial Magistrate) and two social workers as members.
Child friendly decisions were taken for the welfare of children in conflict with law.
